§ion_1=subsection[FIRST AID,EVENTS]Welcome to the
SAWANG BORIBOON RESCUE FOUNDATION
The Sawang Boriboon Foundation started in the year 1948 - (59 years ago) The organisation was founded by Mr Pai Wun Sibunlueng - a Thai/Chinese national. We are a Non-Profit Organisation, run by volunteers and we are on duty every Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings from 8 p.m. until 2 a.m., however where situations require it we will work later if necessary. We actively promote life-saving and fire prevention activities and establish and keep the co-operation of all national and governmental parties. §ion_1_subsection_1=First Aid Trainings
If an accident happened, we know what to do !
We have been running first aid courses for our rescue team for a long time and we train lots of people every year. We're giving participants both the skills and confidence to use what they have learnt, with a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical sessions. We all gained vital life-saving skills, so that in the event of an emergency we will know what to do and will have the confidence to help.
Lately we held successful trainings at European Safety Concepts - ESC (October 2007) and The Sheraton Pattaya Resort (November 2007). Please see pictures within our photo gallery.

The Sawang Boriboon Rescue Foundation is always recruiting volunteers to be trained and ready to respond to disasters. If you would like to join us please go to the contact section or directly send us an e-mail. §ion_1_subsection_2=N E W A M B U L A N C E

invites to the presentation of the Ambulance 2, South Pattaya Unit sponsored by ESC and Biker Daze

at Pinnacle Jomtien Resort Monday, 26th Nov. 2007 - 3:00 P.M. 37/2-11 Moo 2, Sukhumvit Road Na Jomtien, Sattahip, Chonburi 20250 §ion_2=We assist the Emergency Services in any capacity we are able to and often can be first to arrive at the scene of an incident where we take immediate action as necessary, such as first aid treatment, evacuation, incident control, further trauma prevention, casualty transportation.
We keep and support the principle of voluntary work high in the public's mind. We are always available for attendance at major incidents, such as a fire, flood, or major disaster as well as attending scenes of accidents and traumas.
Most of the volunteers have radio receivers and we constantly monitor the rescue channel for any emergency incident which might benefit from our help, if we think we may be able to assist, then we will attend.

The main rescue centre in the Pattaya area is in Naklua, where the staff on the team receive around 4500 baht each month from sponsorship and donations, which includes donations (tips) from those we have helped.
The current head of our team in Pattaya is Khun Prasit Tongticharoen, who is honoured with the title of Gupai 1, which translated into English means “for helping people”. He also is known as “Rescue 1”.
We currently have 25 rescue workers available at our rescue station in Jood Pattaya Tai. The Watch Commander at our station is Khun Kanchit Sitasert (Gupai 411).
We would normally have on shift two Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT), basic and remote plus one Paramedic, in addition to the standard basic Emergency Medical Services (EMS) staff. §ion_3=Associates, Volunteers and Helpers
